Just to be clear:
The people at Ableton stated early on that the first phase of the beta would be released to 500 people who were already registered users of LIVE on a first-come-first-served basis. This first phase is not restricted to LIVE 6.b.1, because as bugs are found, they have to release another version to FIX the bug, hence, 6.b.2-6.b.11. Each new beta release does not re-open the beta circle. It was fixed with 6.b.1, and will not be extended until the people at Ableton decide to do so. At this point, it might be extended to another 500, or it may be extended to the full public. Only they know.
Remember, it is their business, and they can run it as they see fit. Every time a new beta is released it does no good to run to try to download it unless:
a) you are already in the beta circle;
b) they have stated that they will extend the circle. (They have been very good with every release to tell you whether or not this is going to happen with the present beta).
Period.
