[beta testers] Novation Remote Zero SL & Live 6?

Post by martin peter 20 » Mon Sep 04, 2006 11:20 pm

Anyone been beta testing with a Zero SL? I am planning on purchasing one mainly for use with Live 6 so a bit of info from anyone who's already tried it would be greatly appreciated. Mainly interested in automap, jumping values etc. as I intend to use the unit for live / DJ use.

Cheers,

M

it's a lot better with Live 6. automap is a lot deeper, values don't jump, the new 'fader scaling' feature feels great.

also consider a BCR, much cheaper, more knobs, also does automap. a lot of other controllers will also be supported, stay tuned if you can wait.

Checked out the BCR, doesn't have faders and to be honest I'm always a bit dubious of Behringer kit.

Glad to hear that the faders don't jump.

How have you guys found the ZeRO SL in general?

i think come Live7, the SL will be essential kit. Also as far as other kit, without LCD's Automap kinda sux unless you put everything within macros.
