Recording Clip, Keeps Recording

This is a very rare problem, in fact it's only happend twice, but it's strange.

I'm recording a clip, and stop playing once I've recorded what I want.
Now, wanting to edit that clip, I see the clip keeps getting longer, and longer, and can't do anything with it. I have to restart live, and record again.
Has this happend to anyone?
Bug?

Not sure if I can reproduce it, but it happened to me once. I chalked it up to my not knowing Ableton Live well yet, figuring I must have enabled something I shouldn't have.
