Eh? I had to stop using Reaktor over a year ago cos it don't fucking work. I left it for a few months cos it didn't work in Live at all... and last time I tried installing it (last fall) I couldn't get the authorisation app to even lauch. There's a bug meaning you have to set OSX to US Keyboard layout for it to launch (why it even fucking checks for this is beyond me, it makes so little sense you'd think they deliberately made it that way)... and when I did get it to authorise it still didn't work in Live. So I've got a few hundred quid worth of software lying around that I can't use cos it was made by incompetent fucking wankers, too.

And I don't munch arses, wanksocks.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Now we need asswipe from Beavis and Butthead.
Turn up the radio. Turn up the tape machine. Look into the sunset up ahead. Roll the windows down for a better taste of the cool desert wind. Ah yes. This is what it's all about. Total control now.

They do test (and quite vigorously). The problem with NI, as with many other companies, is that marketing plays a key role as to when things will be released- the CD/DVD masters have to go out at a certain time to meet release dates.

@ noisetonepause- if you mail me offlist, I could probably solve your issue with Reaktor and Live.

Another night with open eyes
Too late to sleep, too soon to rise
You're short of breath, is it a heart attack?
Hot and feverish you face the fact

You're in love, and it feels like shame
Because she's gone and made a fool of you in public again
You're in love, and it feels like pain
Because you know there's too much truth in everything she claims

So ask yourself now: Can you forgive her
If she wants you to?
Ask yourself: Can you even deliver
What she demands of you?

You drift into the strangest dreams
Of youthful follies and changing teams
Admit you're wrong, oh, no, not yet
Then you wake up and remember that you can't forget
She's made you some kind of laughing stock
Because you dance to disco, and you don't like rock
She'd make fun of you, and even in bed
Said she was gonna go and get herself a real man instead

So ask yourself now: Can you forgive her
If she begs you to?
Ask yourself: Can you even deliver
What she demands of you?
Or do you want revenge?
But that's childish, so childish!
(But that's childish, so childish!)

Remember when you were more easily led
Behind the cricket pavillion and the bicycle shed
Trembling as your dreams came true
You looked right into those blue eyes and knew

It was love, and now you can't pretend
You've forgotten all the promises of that first friend
It's bad enough, she knows how you feel
But she's not prepared to share you with the memory

So ask yourself now: Can you forgive her
If she begs you to?
Ask yourself: Can you even deliver
What she demands of you?
Ask yourself now: Can you forgive her
If she begs you to?
And ask yourself: Can you even deliver
What she demands of you?
Or do you want revenge?
But that's childish, so childish!

<yes, yes I know over 6000 posts yes...shut up...>

GODAMMIT I dont even have Komplete 3 yet, now I'm starting to really want to see what they've done to them all

...what could they possibly do to all those synths and samplers to make them 2 versions better I ask myself?

I think Absynth, FM7 and Pro53 and Battery and Reaktor are all awesome - and due to having no chance of actually getting them I have never even wanted to tease myself by looking at the spec lists

Oh well, Komplete 2 probably still has a good 5 years worth of solid exploration I havent done on it

i am very excited about this
as a kc06 and komplete2 owner i may just use my 169 credit towards kore

the knobs are already mapped and you can switch to pages and pages of them ive been told on certain reaktor presets
not really automapped but more like "already mapped"

also you can change settings on a preset (randomize) and the knobs will have the same control destination

thats only reason i would get kore (plus massive will be free for me)

oh fuck yes.

I just went to a local store today and bought their second last komplete care 2006!

It was 299 canadian dollars (approx. 260-270 $US), and gives me komplete 4 (with Akoustic Piano!), the three new beauties, and all the Universal Binaries when they come out. It also gives me a coupon to the on-line N.I. shop for 169 $US.

Wow. Compare that to the 339 $US for an upgrade from komplete 3 to 4 (sans coupon) and I got myself a sweet last minute deal there!

Considering N.I. stopped selling/shipping komplete care on sept.1st, I feel prtty lucky to get in there. :D

poor beloved ableton sampler: I'm sorry but you'll have to wait.

cheers,

happy grb

P.S. I've still got an extra boxed 4-product upgrade to komplete 3 sitting in my closet if anyone is wanting to get into komplete 4. (I've been too lazy to post it on ebay or craig'slist, but now I'm short on funds and I gotta sell it). Not looking for too much, maybe 300 or best offer I guess (It was 789 on-line). PM's welcome.
Professional Shark Jumper.
