VST's working in Ableton live with a Mac Intel Core Duo?

Hi, will be buying a Macbook 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo next week.

I've heard that VST's not designed for it will simply not work with it in Ableton Live 5.2. Is this true?
Will it be the same Live 6?

Any advice on compatibilty with Ableton / Macbooks with intel and VST's would be greatly appreciated.

yes, its the same, because the problem is not ableton.
you can only use vst if they are universal binarys, what means they have to be compiled for ppc and intel....thats all.
i think it is only a matter of time.
