well, it is $99 for me (educational discount). Not sure if the "buy live & sampler and get a discount" thing applies. I don't think I'm going to get it at first, but I plan on it eventually. At least i can use the EIC with Simpler.

i would buy right now @ 99 - no way @ 199, even with L6 discount. since it's locked inside Live, no VST/AU, it is worth less to me.

ditto for Operator - Ableton preis structure is krazy.

let me take this opportunity to scream again for better/offline time-stretch ala MPEX3 or Serato, kthxbye.

You can all cry about the price as much as you like, it's Ableton's product and they can sell it at whatever price they choose.

Yes, I agree that 199 EUR is perhaps a little high (considering you don't get the EIC with it), but $99 for a sampler? You're cheapskates, the lot of you. :roll:
