Post by even » Sun Oct 01, 2006 9:18 pm

without a doubt my best work so far, and probably the longest too :D (7min10sec)

you can listen to it at my soundclick page or download it as a full 320kbps mp3 here

i hope you enjoy it as much as i did creating it

Sounds good. You should work on making it sound a little bit "bigger"

maybe so. i did mix this on headphones so it might not be that great, but truth be told i don't really want that much 'bigger' sound. this is not aimed at the dancefloor obviously.

i'll check it again in the morning and by then i'd have rested my ears too

cheers for listening to it

No prob sounds goods. Maybe running a mastering plug in on it might fatten it up a bit. Or play with the drums.

i did that. i put ozone on the master track and fiddled with it a bit. some exciting, multi band dynamics, and a slight touch of reverb, admitedly all on headphones.

what do you mean by 'play with the drums' ?

The drums sound a bit like they are out of place with the mix. They need to be meshed a little more with the other sounds somehow. Just my taste though.

sounds really good. I'd say add some eq between 3 and 4khz on the snare will give it some more life and help it get some more presence. maybe layer it with a bright white noise wav form. it's got a nice vibe though.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
