[ot] I'm stuck in the past

Post by rbmonosylabik » Thu Oct 19, 2006 8:26 am

As some of you might know, my comp (iMac G5) is dead, so now I'm kind of stuck with this beauty:

iMac G3 333Mhz
6GB HD
288 MB RAM (1 256 MB DIMM + 1 F****ING 32 MB DIMM)
6MB VRAM
Mac OS 8.6

any ideas on cool stuff to do with it?

good god! you could get a better computer for like 300 dollars.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

I´d go to http://209.120.136.205/index.php?show=games and get some cool old games. The site contains abandonware, the licenses of which have exceeded. The software should therefore be legal.

Personally, I'm still loving my mini.

It makes NO noise which is great for desktop audio.

After years of laptops, I can't stand fans going constantly.
