Live 6 wont fully quit

i can't fully quit live when working on my current project. the main app screen goes off, but live is still active in the dock and the file menu is continuosly highlighted on 'FILE'
The current project has 62 stereo tracks, all audio, and not many fx.

i CAN launch and quit live from fresh though - it's confusing.

G5 Dual 1.8, 2gig Ram, OSX 10.4.8, Live 6

I get this a lot on XP. I've seen a post from the abes which suspect a control surface is connected to live when this happens. However, I've had it happen with or without a control surface connected. I have to end the process manually to get it to go away. Sometimes the Live6.0.1 process is really locked up and I have to shutdown to get rid of it. XP eventually kills it and the machine shuts down.

Which VSTs do you have? For me I think it might be VST related.

My M-Audio Keystation drivers do a similar thing. They force load the driver files EVERY bloody time you turn the keyboard on, and the installer for those files never ever ever shuts down properly. As long as I remember to three-finger the installer as soon as the keyboards turned on everythings fine.

I agree with magnetron, it's prolly a VST issue.
