hmmmm . . . looks like mac users are having an eMagic Moment . . . sorry . . .
of course, i realize it's a different situation . . .just looks like apple is on some kind of piss-users-off campaign . . .
btw, you didn't think just mac folks were going to read this thread did you? ;-)

ofcourse not. i just think it's important that they don't try to charge us $100 a year for something that was supposed to be "free for life". indeed Apple is pissing alot of people off, me included. i'm very close to giving up on them completely. and i'm a Logic user and i think it sucks what they did.memetic wrote:hmmmm . . . looks like mac users are having an eMagic Moment . . . sorry . . .

i totally agree with you . . . $100 is obnoxious. you could register a domain name and get a year of hosting w/multiple pop e-mail accounts and 50MB storage for more or less the same price.
looks like there's an opportunity for adbusters ( http://www.adbusters.org/home/ ) to do an apple.com/switcheroo anti-campaign! :-)

you know it would be great too. adbusters rules! they never run out of ideas. i guess they never will as long as the world keeps churning out crap to make fun of. now i'm gonna buy a copy tomorrow. i'm psyched.memetic wrote:i totally agree with you . . . $100 is obnoxious. you could register a domain name and get a year of hosting w/multiple pop e-mail accounts and 50MB storage for more or less the same price.

Signed.
I just bought a new MB Pro over the weekend and have been doing the mobile.me trial ever since. I like being able to sync contacts, email, calendars and stuff, but that's really not worth US$100/year. Better to just do it meself, or wait until someone releases an open sourced program that does it for me.

wtf is iTools?
Isn't .mac MobileMe now anyway? I've paid for that service since I got my mac three years ago...
This looks like spam to me.
If you're going to write a petition to the CEO of a global corporation i suggest using someone who can write in English properly. The grammar!! All those commas!!
and wtf is 'backuping'??? I'm sure Steve Jobs takes made up words very seriously indeed.
shameful spamming.
I'll not be signing.
