is there a way that I can get Live 3.0 to save my key assignments? I find it a pain to have to set them all up again everytime I restart live.

Set your key assignments into a blank document and save the document. Each time you open Live, open this "template" document, which will contain your assignments.

Or just use the options/preferences/defaults/save template function, so that your settings are automatically loaded every time with the (blank) startup .als
