I would like to cut an audio file in the arrange editor into separate smaller clips and then drag these new clips into Sampler. These different clips would then be mapped to individual key ranges. Is this possible? Does Sampler take any warp settings into account? If not then I guess I should warp/bounce then load into Sampler.

i think you should split the arrange clip as desired (ctrl+E)
then consolidate each slice (ctrl+J) (this WILL capture the warp, and normalize, so watch out)
then you can drag them into the instrument

I had reasonable success with using Recycle and exporting the sliced audio file, together with the midi file into sampler, might wanna give it a try.
