I've had this problem in Win2000 and XP, but I have a second XP machine where Live works perfectly. In both cases, the audio works fine but neither the meters nor the line that follows the set's progress works. Every so often, some meters will appear, but they will be frozen. I'm going to try to upgrade DirectX and see if it helps (the problem is on my main music box), but in the meantime, has anyone else experienced this problem? I have just reformatted and reinstalled and am trying to solve this problem before going further.
My system:
PIII 800
384mb
Tyan Tiger 230 mobo
Matrox Millenium G200

I have 1.51. I'm gonna try 1.5 after work this evening. It's bizarre - Reason 2.0 did the same thing as well. In fact, I reformatted and reinstalled because Reason 2.0's meters didn't work, and they work perfectly in the other machine.
Hopefully, I will acquire a laptop by the end of the year where everything will work well.
