SMALL monitors

Hi,

I was always working with headphones but have to buy some sort of monitors now. Problem is, they have to be SMALL !
Was thinking about some 'multimedia'-speakers or how do you call them.. but I want sort of the real thing. But, I repeat, SMALL!

Anyone any idea?

If you want speakers buy a good ones,i am not saying get the best and the expensive ones,but get something good.
You sould look for the GENELEC not that small but i think are not that big.
I say this because maybe in the future you will need good speakers and then you have to spend more money.Just get them now.
Just my opinion.

event alp-5s............good mixes that transfer well to other monitors and sound systems.

I'm borrowing a cheap pair of Edirols at the moment off a mate, and they seem fine... about as small as you can get, and won't bust your wallet.

Bluesky are supposed to be amazing. They include a subwoofer too

really small and really amazing.

to me there is NO other choice, especially if you ask for really small and really good.

Genelec 8020A here also... accurate monitoring and small.

+1 for Genelecs 8020s... Sweet sounds for the rest of your life, and maybe with money and time, you can set one of the best 5.1 systems around.
I've ordered mine few days ago, can't wait to hear it.

I'm wondering how much will I need a sub for these babies... any user's experience here?

I have the 1091 sub but for the 1029 monitors i have pay 4 years ago 900EURO
