Are drums as good as synthesizer?

Post by EvilEvilEvilEvilEvil » Tue Dec 26, 2006 12:21 am

Are drums better to use than synthesizer? We're putting out an amazing trance album early next year and need to start programming parts. So i have to know if drums are better than synthesizer or synthesizer better than drums.

synthesizer is better as drum because drum don't synthesizer sounds as good synthesizer drum sounds..
but if you're into transe, or trance, I would advice to drum some synthesizers because trance drums normally synthersize my brain to waste..

to drum or not to synthersize,
that still stays a question..

hope that helps..
cheers..

I sold my Nord and drumkit, and picked up some rubberbands and rocks to pound together. It's a nice warm sound that only natural elements can provide.

Goin Toxic (but only if IL has that promised yard sale) and Albino...I woke up this morning and took one last look at Albino, Blue, z3ta, and really locked in on the Arpeggiator interface, layering, and audio input that Albino has...the evaluation period is officially over and I'm making my Albino purchase in about an hour.

No, tarnce with only drums is drum and bass, tarnce needs synthesizer. Make sure to get a trance approved filter sweep too.
