Live 6 Upgrade and Missing Presets
The presets situation..
I don't know whats new and whether I have all the files installed.
I had no Dynamic tube presets, no Note Length presets (ableton you gonna make some?), Two Operator folders with the same things inside named voice and voices, and empty folders in the main presets folder for Operator, etc.
I hope you can provide a complete list or something, so I can check whats going on and fix it.
Thanks

Hi toxictobi,
the "outside" Waveforms folder is kept by the Live6 Library Upgrade in place so your existing Live Sets, Clips and Presets are not broken. Unless you are using any samples from this folder, you may of course delete it. Note however that no samples from the Waveforms folder are copied automatically into Samples/Waveforms.
Regards,
Gregor

Hey Gregor,
So is it possible to copy the files inside the "outside" folder into the
Sample/Waveforms-folder manually by the Win-Explorer for example(which would overwrite the ones having the same name)
or do I have to keep the "outside" folder where it´s at, in order to keep my existing Live sets, Clips etc.?

find my way. now it works...(i think hahaha)
when i click on the preview of keys-aditivo chords for example..... it says that there are samples missing. on the right end of the screen you can search for missing files... some how it searched the entire library. then i click on collect and save. and no everything works. hopefully the rest will work as well
seriously, this doesn't work
i've tried everything. i relink the files, live forgets where they are the next time around. any luck on this at all? i'm going crazy!
I had my Live 5 library put in ~/music/Ableton. When I installed the download for 6, it made its own folder called ~/music/Live6.
Live6 knows to look for waveforms and such in ~/music/Ableton when I'm opening Live5 sets, but I don't want to have a 6 library tree separate from the old 5 library tree. I'd like the two combined.
I'd like to copy and delete originals to consolidate, but I don't want to clobber anything. I think I may wipe clean and install *just* 6 so that everything is in one place and its own installer gives me the latest of everything.
