Probably the best way if it includes samples is to make a live pack. You can check it out on page 68 of the (English) manual if you're unsure how.

Here 'tis (requires Sampler): http://www.mydatabus.com/public/s2b/z/f ... ar.alp.zip

WARNING: THIS IS NOT A MULTISAMPLED GUITAR!!

This is a sampler patch which is in fact a "multisampled" elastic band stretched over a ruler, which at school with a friend quite a few years ago was known as a "funky rock guitar". I was surprised at the sound it makes, I find it quite interesting. I added some compression and Dynamic Tube to bring the volume up quite a bit. Maybe I will develop this rack in the future, add some more samples and tweak the sampler a bit, add some macros etc. This is just something I did this afternoon when I suddenly found myself wanting some FRG (Funky Rock Guitar) on a piece, but I wasn't feeling up to recording myself actually playing any kind of tune on a ruler with an elastic band.

here is the instrument itself.

Well I have to say I'm damn excited to hear this sample patch. But I've downloaded the .alp and it seems to be corrupt.

This is the massage I'm getting...

Only problem is I have the latest version 6.0.3 so this doesn't make much sense. Is anyone getting same problem? Any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Right, this one appears to work: http://www.mydatabus.com/public/s2b/z/f ... ar.alp.zip
I have zipped it for good measure.
I also updated the link in my post above, so this should work now...

Ah, got it tow work. Thanks..

sebovzeoueb:
I took your samples and created 2 Simpler instrument versions (for those who don't own Sampler).. Also added some effects and processing.. kind of a fun little experiment!

Rubber Band- Simpler

Will add both yours and mine to the top list.

Yeah it is working for me mate! Thank you!

Oh and your sampler instrument has inspired me to walk around the house for the last day or two stretching an elastic band over stuff and recording it. Some of the best ones were just stretching it in from of my mouth and playing it like a mouth harp. Anyway I've been coming up with some pretty interesting and cool sounds from it. Everything from punchy sub basses to melodic synths. Good fun! I'll post a few when I get them dialed in a bit.
