Origin is the first Arturia Hardware synthesizer. It is a modular system of a new generation opening innovative avenues in sound design.
Loaded with modules extracted from the best synthesizers of all time (Moog Modular, ARP 2600, CS-80, minimoog and Prophet VS) Origin lets you combine these modules and benefit from the additional possibilities put onboard. I love their sound. That TAW tech is so warm sounding. and now a peice of hardware to combine everything. maybe I can get hit by a city bus or something to get a big chunk of cash for this one...

Arturia makes great stuff and is a great company. In terms of sound quality they are always spot on...
I'm thinking this might be a little less than everyone thinks. The Creamware stuff that's out there does essentially the same thing and it sells for around $700-$1000...
I'm guess it will come out at about $1200 and maybe dip down to $1000 within 2007.
Of course, the Orgin offers more then any of the Creamware devices but if you want to corner the market, offer more for the same price.
This does look like a wonderful piece of gear!
