Yeah - I am very tempted to go minimal. With a loft full of old vinyl I'm already hanging on to too much!

What with those and my wifes 200 coats & 1000's of shoes I've got no hope!

I may have exaggerated the numbers on the clothing. It just seems that way. And of course she needs them all! Styles will always come back.

Funny. I'm in the process of seriously debating the minimal route myself. Zebra2 is starting to attract my ideas more than the TI, and Battery 3 is a nice break from the Machinedrum which I've been using constantly all year.

Now that I got Operator, trackteam's Beatbox Livefills, and, most importantly, my MPD 24 to control Live, I do use my hardware less. In fact, I took my Triton out of my setup (soon to be sold), and lent my ER-1 and KP-1 to a friend (who is getting quite good sounds out of the ER-1).

So, right now, I am down to Live controlled by my MPD 24, Machinedrum, Voyager, and KP-3. It is a tight setup, and I am really enjoying it. Probably gonna add Sampler, and possibly a V-Synth. But I do love the more minimal setup. :D
Machinedrum SPS-1 UW MkII, Monomachine SFX-6
Moog Voyager Signature Edition
Virus TI Polar
Live 8, Operator, Sampler
Reaktor 5, Massive, FM8, Sound Toys Bundle
Pro Tools 7.4
Mac G5 Dual 2.5 GHz
Macbook Pro 15-in. 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

But, I really want to get into software, specifically Ableton with the Novation SL but don't have the cash, so.........

should I sell the hardware to fund my £800 Ableton 6 with Operator & Sampler & Novation SL purchase?

is the mixer the soundcraft spirt ES or E12?

I have an ES and like it a whole lot. Eventually I'm gonna buy another.

Do you tried the new OS 2.0 for the ti ? This opens a whole new world in the virus universe!

don't sell your gear... it'll be worth a mint... some day. I'm still holding on to my Timex/Sinclair 1000.
