Waves Diamond Bundle, feedback

Post by D DAS » Wed Jan 17, 2007 10:01 am

I have a guy I buy stuff from on Craigslist, he is older has kids and is not doing music anymore, so he has sold a lot of stuff for cheap. I got my nanosynth for 5 dollars from him .

he now has Waves Diamond Bundle version 5 for $200, I googled it and saw it for $2800, is this right, if so then the plug ins must be top notch.

what is your take on it?

jump at the chance!

it's important to remember with waves though you have to pay them $150 for the changeover, but even $350 is such an unbelievable steal you shouldnt be here asking us, you should be at his house getting it before he changes his mind

if he has it on an iLok then you may get out of the $150 - but it will still mean you arent registered with them (for updates and supprt etc) but you'd be able to use it at least

that bundle is totally full of great things

if nothing else the L2 is awesome, then one day you might have a piece of music you want to change the key of and the time/pitch (ultrapitch shifter and soundshifter etc) are outstanding at that, the renaissance stuff is great, the noise/hum stuff has pulled it's weight for me a few times cleaning up audio for video people

there is no question you'd be crazy not to

No it is not a crack, this guy is cool and not a thief.

He sold me his alesis nano synth, mint condition, for $5 I figured this thing won't work but sure enough it works perfectly.

at the time I bought that, he had the diamond bundle for sale for $800, then a while later reposted for $500, now he is at $200. Full license, original box, original discs, etc.

I am going to go by his house after work. I looked at their site and it seems just one of those plugs alone averages between 200-600 dollars, a lot of cool stuff in their, and for 200, what the hell.

Thanks

well, just a follow up, you all were right 100% it was a crack. a fully working fully functional unregistered version. works fine just can't upgrade it. i did still consider it but did not bite. i will wait for him to off it for 100

$100 for a crack!!! Just download it from the cheekynet if you're not fussed about the morality, don't pay for it!
