ot... It's post 1000 for me and a website launch

Post by knotkranky » Tue Jan 30, 2007 8:23 am

Hello live forum brothers, I'm dropping my website today in commemoration of my "kilo post day" and I want to thank you all for all the useless and meaningless banter that in all honesty is great fun. I had never posted on a forum until this spot and I don't intend to join another one, but that's mainly because I don't want to mess with any more new software. Live and PT are all I require.

Anyway, please check out my site and if you could help me with a few ideas or let me know of any browser problems, I would greatly appreciate it. I believe i've lost my mind and my way in putting this together. Perspective is in short supply.

Cheers mates

Hey Knot, not to be a downer, but I found the light grey text on the white background pretty hard to read on your site. Maybe a darker grey for the text? Otherwise it looks nice!

G'mornin fellas, Thanx guys. I appreciate it.

T, I think the dark background jpg is not loading for you. Hmm. It should be a fixed photo of an old neve all in a dark blue. Or am I getting you wrong? Anyone getting it like that too?

Mw, well I don't book em like that anymore. Right now i'm mixing some blistering jazz for an independent film soundtrack. The big creds were a few years ago when the LA recording hood was strong. Comparatively it's very weak. The record companies have disappeared in most regards. Everything goes through the producers now and if it's an all in deal they will stay away from needless expenses of course and do it themselves at home. Anyway, i figure the only thing they will always need or can't make software for is mixing, so i'm carving out my niche.

Thanx again, any little bit of advice is appreciated. Cheers
