The solution of rendering to disk in ver. 5 is found!!!
I've encountered the problem of rendering to disk myself - there were clips and other harmfull sounds in the wav/aif file. Examined this forum for solution, there were posts from others with the same problem, but I found no solution.
After some investigation I found out that turning off the function Delay Compensation completely eliminates the problem. At least on my PC and using my Live 5.0.2. I hope that will help others...

Thats a strange comment...update to 5.2, the improvements are bug fixes not changes to features. If you are registered it is free so there's no reason not to.ultramaker wrote:The problem is that during playback it's ok!!! And I had a normalazing and limiting Waves L1 Ultramaximizer plug-in in master section, by the way!
I don't upgrade cause all other stuff satisfies my needs.
Did you try turning off the L1? Also do render a version with the level down. Is it peaking throughout the song when you play it (hitting the red)?

Thanx for response, but you don't seem to get two things:
1) I've already solved the problem and just offer here the solution!
2) The problem I'm talking abount cannot be fixed by lowering the level. I've experienced it myself and read in other user's posts.
P/s: Did I say that I'm a registered user ?
P/s: "the improvements are bug fixes not changes to features" - hmm, a lot of users abuse Live 6, saying 5 worked better in the same situation.

now who's not getting it. I said upgrade to 5.2. You have 5.02 which is a few updates below 5.2.
I would assume you are if you are posting on the official ableton forum.
Seems odd that you would go to the bother of testing things out to find a solution with out upgrading to the latest version of Live 5 (i never meant v6)
