I don't think you can really hope to get anything - at least anything decent..

But still might be worth checking flEaBay - actually google Fat Fingers... enables to type in a term like 'laptop' or 'soundcard' and it'll find listings that have spelling errors in the title, so there are likely to be less bids as normal ebay searches don't find them.

EDIT: It's http://www.fatfingers.com

And I found these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/M-AUDIO-Audiophil ... dZViewItem

and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Terratec-EWS64XL- ... dZViewItem

Don't know about the quality of them though, but I have the Audiophile and it's rock solid but PCI.

Not possible... or if it is possible (say, something by Terratec or Creative), you'll be much better off waiting a few months and getting something in the 100 quid range, like the M-Audio Firewire-range. It'll be worth it.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

There's nothing wrong with USB for audio as long as you don't want to have huge numbers of channels.
