Export (please)

Post by orpheus » Fri Jan 04, 2002 3:01 pm

Live is incredible. The only problem is that, like others, I'm having difficulty exporting. I don't understand how to bounce all tracks to one file, or how to record tracks to individual .wavs or .aifs at all. Could someone please post more detailed instructions on how this is done? And Albeton... please consider adding an export to .wav/.aif function.

Ok, i may be rather slow witted. But how does one then save this "master" track as a 2-track stereo AIFF or Wav (for mastering etc). :(

Saving file as a wav

As far as I can see there is no way to save as a wav file with Live; however, if you were to acquire the program "Total Recorder" you could set it up to record the output of live as a wav.

saving as wav (or aiff)

I should give the manual a read before I start giving advice. Sorry. It seems that you can in fact save to wav of aiff files. Chapter 3 in your manual should explain. :D
