NUO5 + m audio omnistudio USB + live 5

Hi,

Im depressed.. I pluged in ecler nuo5 via midi cable to midi in maudio omni usb ---> live by usb (from maudio to ableton). Mixer sending midi clock to ableton but i can't change in live preferences internal/external midi clock source... in fact sync won't work.
What i have to do?

in preferences, have you turned on sync for that midi port IN?

do you see the midi lights up the top right flashing?

do you have the EXT button pressed?

i can't change midi clock source from internal to external. Is it nessesary to connect omnistudio USB to laptop with midi? (from omni midi out to laptop midi in?)
