strange warbling sound when recording audio (vocals)

when im recording audio (vocals, not imported tracks) im getting a slight, strange "warbling" sound in the audio. Has anyone experienced this? What could this be?

either you or the singer should take less drugs....

jks, should be the warp thing longjohns said.

you can try other warp modes though to reduce the warbling if you want to keep the vocal at a tempo other than the one it was recorded at
