ot: i love this messageboard (a silly pic thread)

Post by The Phat Conductor » Wed Feb 28, 2007 6:54 pm

you guys are the greatest man. i've never felt such a sense of community on any other messageboard. it rarely disintegrates into flamage and i've found a massive amount of useful information here. people on this board have bailed my ass out enough times, and i've had about a billion little questions answered....

i'm going to show my appreciation by posting some nice pictures. i was hoping that others could follow suit and we could have a silly pic thread...

Yer welcome!

for me too, this is only one of two message boards I frequent... I don't know why it's higher quality discussion, it just is...

fwiw, just in case you really wanted to know, it's from an ad for a US department store chain called, mysteriously, 'Target', which, if that weren't enough insipid trivia, a lot of people get a kick out of pronouncing 'Tar-zhay' a'la francais, because it is just >that< much more chic than WalMart (which i guess would be 'Les Mart d'Wal' ?).

and the kitty cat sniper is hilarious.

You're so right. I'm having a horrible day and feeling really low and pathetic as a result. Otherwise, I'd post some funny pics.

But it does help to know that however fleeting or intangible the friendships I may have in this community...at least I have them, and they often put a smile on my face. (something I could really use right now)

You guys rock.
