stupid pan-question

got a signal. if you wanna use only one of the stereo-channel, is there a tool to block the other and turn the chosen into stereo?

Live's Utility plug-in is what you're looking for.

In the flip menu you can select Stereo / Left / Right / Swap.

I have heard this question come up in the past.

Are you recording a microphone and want it to be "stereo" as in "in the center of the panorama"?

If so, then you need to record that monophonic sound source as mono. It might seem backwards right now, but that's how to do it. Simply set the input source to "1" instead of "1/2"
- and sorry, if that doesn't answer your question.
