Once upon a time a band of anarchists asked us to do a remix, they said to us "look, we are all skint - so we can only give you £50, but if it goes into the top ten we'll cut you in no worries" .
How we laughed .. how the fuck was a band with a name like Chumbawamba going to chart with a song like "Tubthumping" , nevertheless we remixed it as best we could for the 50 notes. Dropping the bit about "pissing the night away", that was a rubbish bit.

Oddly that was the last we heard from them. Anarchy just looks so small from 40 thousand feet up.

Obviously our mix, didn't chart - but then, (I thought) they could have at least thrown us another 50, seeing as I was on the dole at the time

you know what i think is funny?

the prize is a copy of ableton live 6, right?

so those who do not own it yet (or just haven't scraped up the cash for an upgrade) might think "hey great!"

until you try and open the .als file in live 5 and it tells you that the file was created in a newer version of live.

*scratches chin*

so unless i have 6 i can't win live 6?

or am i missing something here?

Yeah, i thought that was a bit odd, am on Live 5.2 as well. I ran it on the Live 6 demo just to see what it looked like too -if you look into the folders, you still see all the WAV components, so should only take a few mins to drag them in yourself.
