Beta Bug Fix
Does this fix that weird Ableton 6 bug where Impulse loses/forgets what drum kits I'm using in all my songs?

Did you open a thread for your problem? Maybe I did not see it? If not, please open new thread, and descibe the problem as good as possible, and give infos about your computer and the exact version of Live you are using. So we have a better chance to know what happens.

Here's a bug I reported a few times before. Not sure if I made a thread for it.
I cant reproduce the bug, but it has happened on more then on occasion.
After I installed a new Live version, double-clicking on a .als file usually gives me an error in osx.
This only happens the very first time and only if i try to open Live by clicking on a .als file.
I pressume OSX is trying to open the previous Live beta thats in my trash folder.
Even though the new beta is on my desktop.
Anyway. just dragging the .als file over the Live application fixes this.
And after that, Live behaves like it should.
Osx 10.4.9
Though i've been getting this (and reported it) since Live 5 beta's...

My guess is that the OS keeps the latest opened version of Live the valid application for your als files, not the latest installed version. So if that latest opened version is in the trash, you get the error. If you open the new beta once, first, and close it, I guess you don't get an error?hoffman2k wrote:Here's a bug I reported a few times before. Not sure if I made a thread for it.

Surely, that's only quick thinking, maybe Alex wil have a better answer to it.

Still figured it was worth a report though.
