Who's Wii'ing with Live ?

a guy at shareoutpost last night has been doing wii mote stuff..
he did his set on a DS Lite and a Kaos Pad..

mac and pc, you need bluetooth obviously. You cannot use the Win XP bluetooth drivers also AFAIK.

If you don't have a wii - you can remotely control ableton with a webcam, using reactivision.

Got my wii-mote today, got it controling live through WiitoMIDI, works pretty well.

Got it on MIDI Learn at the moment though and as it can move in three plains XYZ and each plain can control a different cc value it's really difficult to assign the cc's in MIDI learn mode.

How can I manually edit the cc values in live. Is there a text file I can edit somewhere?

New to mac's also so I'm a bit lost.

this is a fantastic Wii-remote and other OSC to Midi converter, works fantastic.. there is a beta version the developer has given me which does midi note, applescript, mouse and key events, all kinds of stuff.. its pretty fantastic..

Unfortunately you can not edit the midi-assignments in Live manually. A workaround would be to connect any other midi-controller and assign the CCs you need with this controller. Does WIItoMidi allow you to change the midi CCs for each button/Axis individually? Or are they fixed settings?
