Live 7
Fer f*cks sake please just give us:
1. Groove Quantize (with the option of loadingyour own templates). Just rip off logic please.
2. Bezier Automation curves
3. Folder tracks
4. Scissors tool
5. less cpu intensive when running warped / disk streaming tracks.
6. Switch off disk streaming for freeze option
7. Drop samples from ram option when freezing tracks. that way when I have a couple of instances of stylus, some EWQSL Gold and Collossus going on my machine doesn't kel over when I try and add some battery percussion or a big old grand multisample.
8 Release Powercore / UAD1 cards when freezing as well. It seems (i might be wrong here tho) that Live keeps a hold of the VSTi / FX when freezing so i can still only use 4x4 instances of the powercore virus for example. Therefore the freeze function imo could be a lot more useful. . .
9. the ability to select multiple volume faders and move them all at the same time (if i am being a retard and you can already do this please tell me!)
Some other less simple but equally as useful
More intelligence with freeze, would be great to be able to render a freeze and then edit the midi part in one pbit of it n have it redo only the part of the track that you edited with reverb delay tails added. .
A seperate version of live for 'live' use and one for studio use. You already haver two different working paradigms accessed by pressing tab. Why not have another by pressing ctrl tab for example?
And, why not allow graphical customisation for the live version. I.e. you can enlarge or reduce certain components, change the look / feel.
That would totally rock and if combined with a 'live' paradigm would keep both the don't add buttons purists as well as the people like me who fin live amazing and want to use it as my primary audio app.
live is wicked but it frustrates me that it is so limited for studio use. I don't want to export to another programme . but if i keep on having to can we perhaps please have a version that would output a logic file or even an acid file as both of those programmes are much better for mixing.

1. track folders
2. improved Impulse
3. improved project/file management
4. improved track grouping
5. fix gui slowdown problem
6. independent Arrange/Session views
If I don't see the imporvements I need in Live 7, I think I'll be done with Live. I already am right now, as Live 6 is close but not close enough. If the loose ends don't get tied up, I'll officially move on. Until then, I'll remain optimistic!

- Full screen (F11) in dual monitor / detachable / reorganizable views
- A preferences button for 'audio clips allways in RAM BY DEFAULT'
- Overdub in arrangement like the session view way (without rendering a new clip)
- Instant mapping improvement (still cant view the parameter names from Live @ my microkontrol LCDs)
