i need help going from reason to live
hey everyone i need help. i just got live 3 and im a little stumped on how to get my reason songs into live. ive mainly just recorded my loops into live but thats way to slow and tedious. soo i was wondering if there is a faster way and if there is a way to get my rex files into live without having to record them in too.
Rewire.....Turn on Live first then turn on Reason. On the track input it will say master out, Live in, and Reason. (and if your setup has other things happening it may have more options)...
Anyway select reason as the input. The box under that will automatically sellect stereo output from reason. You can change that to the direct outputs from reason but then you must be assigning to the direct outputs in Reason also. Then make sure the monitor button for that track is enabled and you're good to go. REMEMBER start Live first then Reason.
