problem with beat repeat - need help!

i have a continuous bassdrum on all 4th of a looped measure and the following settings on beat repeat:
interval - 1 bar
chance - 100%
gate - 1 bar
no triplet - on
mix type - insert
all other settings are on value 0 or off.

when i have grid on 1/4, the bassdrum plays normal on every 4th. when i change grid to 1/8, the bassdrum plays - what else - on every 8th. but when i now change the grid to 1/16, the bassdrum does NOT play on every 16th. some diffuse sound is appearing, as if the last half of the sound is repeating.

wtf is going on, can anyone help?

note: when i have an audio-track with an audio-clip, it works, but if i have a midi-track with NI-battery and the bassdrum is triggered by a midi-clip, it doesnt work...

I have managed after a couple of minutes to duplicate your problem...
But only using an audio track where the 1 warp marker is way before the kick. This is because beatrepeat's grid is triggered ON the warp marker and if there is silence right immediately after that warp marker, only that silence will be repeated. It works on 8th because the kick is still within 1/8 of the warp marker. I don't know if this will help you but....thats my 2 cent.
