External midi clock device? Anyone?

Hiya,

Looking to get rid of any latency in playing two laptops at the same time by locking the two machines to an external midi clock (they told me it would solve a lot) -- but I'm looking for an inexpensive box that can do just this. Any ideas ?

it's not inexpensive, but if you need a midi-controller too, the korg microkontrol sends midi clock.
