At the moment, Last.fm is hard to beat.

i'm new to the forums, but love virb.

i have a friend who works there, and he's been consulting me about things to add for musicians, and the dj mix thing has been a discussion, and according to him there are now DJ capable profiles that include over 200+ megs for mix uploads.

so that should solve some problems discussed here.

Virb does look great but I wish some of these sites would take a cue from beatport and make it so you can navigate all over the site while the audio player always stays at the top and plays the music until you tell it to stop of choose another song. Virb comes close by letting you open the player in another window.

Yeah it's a nice clear layout, much nicer than those deformities on myspace.

I'm having real fun using three virb windows and kinda dj-ing with them... just dragging the level down to mix out the last track and click to start the new tune... great fun! No attempts at matching, just letting the intros and Outros blend randomly... I'm currently mixing Format with Dan Fisher and myself... Hi Roland... :)

Wish it was possible to use my UC33 to control the Virb player! :D

virb will cache the tunes. so you can re-play everything you've heard, offline.
