you forgot the "Instant Trance" button.Angstrom wrote:OK here are my DEMANDS which must be included in Live 7
or else!
I have many more but these are the ones I NEED you to include in Live 7 now that you have actually finished developing it and this is a complete waste of everybody's time but most notably my own.
- allow 'samples' (traktion has had this since V1 !!!! )
- make it exactly like logic
- make it exacly like Live version 1, but different
- easier to open
- 'ask Sasha' animated buddy
- analogue warmth remover
- less percussive
- more 'professional'
- ego masseur with 'phatness'
- easier to crack, mine has timed out
- Exactly like cubase
- not at all like cubase
- cup holder
oh, wait I just found the cup holder on my computer , Sweet!
Live 7

a way to make any option available in live (like for example the reverse button on clip launcher) MIDI assignable without workarounds.
not that i dont like using bomes midi translator or autohotkeys and whatnots, but really.. if you can modify it with a mouse, you should be able to modify it with midi and/or key shorts.
multimonitor support, atleast if they are continuing on the road towards studio use.
MIDI lfo, please. pretty please?

hmm, a list you want to make, a jedi craves not these things.
easy it is to make lists, numbered versions even. If too much time on computers you are spending.

- a new L337 page called s35510n replaces old style Session
- Live 7 ships with innovative cassette control DJ mechanism
- all basic functions must now be wired up MaxMSP style, no instructions provided, included manual is actually for Zanussi ZWF1221 washing machine
- Realistic dangly wires and screen width constricted to 400px with fans
- Analog summing emulation device
- "Sports" and "city" modes

hmm, owning a web design company some seriously lame perks it does have.

Well I'm sitting in a computer lab in the IT faculty (which is curiously 70s old school proper in it's architecture and water fountains) and at present listening to the pre-lecture recordings on variables, imperative programming and internal memory stores

Hey Forge
I love your 'back-to-front' LISP style math!
Seriously! I'm doing a project using Common Music (a set of dsp and music related classes for LISP) at the moment and while I'm no idiot when it comes to Java and JS, rewriting 'simple' equations plus all those brackets is becoming a major PITA.

Just reading it makes my brain overheat.forge wrote:(if (=(* brain cool-down) me))

I PRAY for making audio overdubing possible on a single clip.
