OSX conflict?

Hello, I just downloaded the OSX verson and when I returned to the 9.2 environment that version does not find my MOTU 828 at startup.
When I choose the ASIO driver in the preferences my computer freezes.

I reinstalled Live ( the latest) as well as the ASIO MOTU I cannot find a preference file for Live so I cannot trash that.

Has anyone else experienced this?

MAC 733 G4 640 mgs memory, ATA 72RPM.

I have no problem switching between OS 9.2 and OS X. 500Mhz G4 Powerbook + MOTU 828.

Thanks, I guess I have to reinstall the system software because "other" problems have surfaced.
