Do Live and Jamstix Jive?
Do Live and Jamstix Jive?
hello all
I was wondering if any of you are using jamsitx with live successfully? I have heard amazing things about it and I am eager to learn of your real world experience.
I came across this: http://www.rayzoon.com/groupbuy07.html
and i have heard some good things about it...
the videos look nice, and the price seems nice, and potentially great!
what are your thoughts?
cheers,
T.

I have tried the demo and it is killer... I looked into GA2 i have GA... but you can't use other Drum products sounds in GA... in Jamstix you can use BFD and EZD sound banksHillary Clinton wrote:There is a Demo, give it a try.
My opinion is it is pretty useless and the Jam feature (which is its whole claim to fame) a joke. It's about as useful and very much so like the drum loops on a piano like the Casio's.
Groove Agent II would get you a lot further or a good loop library.

I downloaded the demo... watched the videos did the tutorials and it works as advertised. You can control how flamboyant your Jamstix drummer is. I use it to create basis for a track... and what's killer is that, while the sounds that come with it are very good in deed, you can use it with your other high-end drum module sounds!stale bread wrote:please share in detail how you are using jamstix, I haven't looked at it recently, might be time for another glance.
I wanted something that would allow me to get the feel of a real live and proficient drummer. Jamstix does! It really is wicked... I am in on the group buy... Hopefully a few more folks will be to and we'll all get it and v.2.0 for $69 bucks... as it stands now, $90 bucks seems like a steal.

arrange window, not clip. add jamstix to a track as an instrument insert, and then do this (forget the sonar part... live does it too): http://www.rayzoontech.com/demos/jamsti ... ee_jam.avistale bread wrote:thanks for your response, how are you triggering it or what's your method of use and thanks again.
