Ableton Users Group Buy for Pluggo- Can we do this?

Post by Liam » Tue May 15, 2007 4:50 pm

I'd like to buy Pluggo for about $31 and this is possible if we buy 100 copies. We would need to contact Cycling 74 and get their approval. The link below shows the actual price per copy for 100.

A pluggo deal would be nice for Live users though,

seeing as there's a partnership now.

That could mean an overlap of features between Live 7 and Pluggo.

But $31... damn!!!

Do you think a feature live 7 will essentially just integrate the pluggo plugs into the live library ?

I'm dying to find out! I don't know Max or Pluggo but it seems to me that what you're asking about is something we can already do, use Pluggo in Live, correct?

I'd bet that's what Machinate's up to, helping Ableton gear up for the integration, he's a hired gun for the Abes and knows Max pretty damn well. I'm about ready to fly out there with a blow torch and a pair of pliers to get him to talk.

This is a joke right? A whole $31????? Like what is $31 anymore?
That will buy parking at a meter, a salad, and a hard cider at your favorite drinking hole. $31 is nothin!

If you need to borrow $31 let me know. You're kidding all of us right?

count me in....
so who's going to set this up ? 100 people should be a doddle to organise for a deal that good...

edit: are you sure that price list isnt for, say, a college that wants to install pluggo on 100 computers ?

It's gotta be just more than just pluggo, some kind of max integration into live, in a usability or rack kind of way.

Denmark isn't it, I'll bring the blowtorch

That's exactly what it is. It's not a group buy.
