Lead weight to improve Axiom action?
Anybody try this? Would I be able to put some small lead weights underneath the keys of my Axiom 49 to give it a little extra weight?
I feel your pain, but I dont think it would be such a good idea. Maybe something like polyfill or whatever, to get rid of the hallowness, but not lead.
Either way I wont be attempting this. I think people get used to keyboard actions pretty quickly anyway. Still, one would wonder why m-audio didnt put in a little bit more plastic to fill the keys.
