dialectic #1 - fun with Live and brainwaves (eeg)

So this uses an EEG to generate MIDI signals which jack the sound of my heartbeat... the poem discusses the roles of logic vs. emotion in the decision making process and the heart / brain signals wind up being sonic metaphors for these roles.

The sequencing was all done in Live, the performance was recorded live. There's more explanation of the brainwave stuff on the site, but I'm happy to answer questions if people are interested.

regardless of the eeg. I think it is great that some one showed me something creative, and very original.

I feel smarter for having spent a few moments experiencing this video.
