Slaving Logic Express to Ableton??? How to...??

Post by weaveofkev » Fri Jun 01, 2007 1:43 am

hi folks!!! here is my q.

I have Logic Express 7.2 and Ableton 6.0.7

What I want to do is make Logic a slave to Ableton through Rewire. I'm having a hard time finding this info. I know how to slave Reason to Ableton but for some reason Logic is a bit more challenging. Can anyone help??? Links or anything??

Logic can't be a Rewire slave, only a master.
LC Xmu Logic/Mackie Control emulation, LC Xview software LC/MC display,
Logic environments & stuff: http://www.opuslocus.com

You can use IAC to slave the clocks and send midi from Live to Logic.

Start Live then start Logic.

Make sure to send the midi clock from Live. Send it via IAC to Logic.

You can do this in LogicPro, I don't know about express.
