2 macs sync by wireless

Post by aneuryzma » Sun Jun 03, 2007 6:58 pm

Hello,

I have 2 macs, with 2 ableton live installed. I would like to sync the time without using midi cable but using mac wireless.. is it possible ?

Or have I to connect the external audio card by midi ?

open 'audio midi setup', double click 'network'. there's a few more details but that will get you started.

Now the follow up question:

Can I MIDI sync to laptops via wireless, between two different applications (i.e Torq/Traktor etc. with Live?)

That would be exceptionally cool.

never mind distributed processing, i'd just like to use apples audio over tcp/ip AUs within ableton. so i can patch audio the way i can midi.
