BCR 2000 ACTING STRANGE

Post by VERDE3 » Thu Jun 14, 2007 5:46 pm

i have problems with a BEHRINGER BCR 2000 acting strange on LIVE.

* it assings the same panpot to 2 variables
* it skips abruptly between values

QUESTIONS:
* will i have the same problems with the fader version, the BCF 2000?
* is it a LIVE mistake on my behalf as a user or a BEHRINGER bug?
* any specific controller with a million knobs worth checking? i heard LUOMO uses some really good ones with a zillion buttons (almost accordion-button-looking)

SETUP:
MAC INTEL brand bew, one controller coming in through usb, pretty normal stuff.

cheers!

In Live 6 you can easily assign one knob to multiple controls in Ableton. What you need to do is make sure that the midi assignment browser window is open(hit TAB in midi mode if you don't see it on the left side of the screen), find the control that should NOT be assigned, click it and hit delete.

Live 5 was different, you could only have one control mapped to a given knob.
