This one could be a bug: when I drag&drop an entire .als from the browser view inside Live (I thought it would have merged) I don't see anything beside the mouse cursor but it seems to load something in memory: I made the test several times but no new tracks appear in the set even if 400-500mb loads up in RAM. Some seconds later Live frees some ram.
I would like to merge different projects or midi tracks that are in different projects in a sibgle project.
Tried on versions 6.0.3 and 6.0.5
Could you help me?
Many thanks!
Andrea
browser view: don't load individual tracks or project
Hello,
You should be able to merge sets, both in Arrangement and in Session view. In Session view, try to drag the als file to the 'header' part of the tracks, to the right of the latest track.
Try it with a small test set, as to see if you are dragging to the right location.

Amaury

Great, it works only when putting into the header part!
Thank you!!! Maybe you also know how to make live to save Edirol Orchestral HQ settings? It seems to save all vst settings but this plugin, so I loose all the tweakings of my sounds everytime I reload the project, so I have to load individually every patch inside the Edirol program because Live seems not to save it.
Thanks a lot!

If I recall weel, the Edirol Orchestral HQ is an outdated plugin, that had the problem you describe but it is not updated anymore.. I guess you would have to choose another product, I could be wrong, be a quick research says it is not updated for the last 3 years. You can try to write to Roland to find out.
