Envelope preset system

Post by hoffman2k » Sun Jun 17, 2007 1:16 pm

2 extra buttons in the envelopes section of a clip:

- Save Envelope

- Load Envelope

If you press load envelope, the envelope preset browser pops up. Next to the name of the envelope that was saved, is the length of the envelope.
These envelope presets will work with all clips regardless of their length, because we can have unlinked envelopes.

Yes, that would work great. Plus:

- True non-linear curves on envelopes

- Type envelope value in breakpoint

Its time for way better envelope implementation imo

+ independent envelope tempo and the ability to scale the length of a envelope by division/multiplication such as x2, 1/2 , 1/3 etc.

trying to set up some surround stuff in Live for a theatre play, which is a pita.

envelope presets would be a huge step forward, not only for this project
