Can not open Reason Engine

Hello all,
i hope someone can help me out here.
I am running a MacBook pro (intel) with Reason 3 and Ableton Live 5.2

The issue is that when launching reason (as a rewire slave of Ableton) I get a "Can not open Reason Engine " in reason.

also, i noticed that in Ableton, i do not see the option so set "REASON" as an Audio source within a channel.

I have removed and reinstalled reason several times, as well as Ableton.

Has anyone experienced this before and been able to fix the problem?

Be sure to use Reason 3.0.5 and Live 5.2.2!
