what's up with Vista?
what's up with Vista?
Is anyone running Live 6 with Vista?
I know this has been discussed before, I was just hoping that someone is having success. I am planning on building a new system, and I know that for the most part it's a bad move to move up to Vista now, but let's face it, at some point we are all going to have to move on.
So what's up?

I have used Live successfully with Vista 'in the lab' but not yet played out using Vista.
I'm using the MOTU Ultralite with it. There *seems* to be some deal where in order to get it work right at a particular sampling rate, you need to set your *internal* sound card to that rate (say, 96k) *then* set your interface to that rate, and things work smoothly. If you are having problems, give that a try.

I recently installed Vista on a partition on my macbook (1.8 core duo) and it runs really well here. Ive installed the Live demo on Vista and not had any problems so far. Its actually pretty nippy.
