More Sampleslots = 12 slots in Impulse please!
8 is not enough for serious drum beats!

You can make an instrument rack with two Impulses, one on each chain, and on the second one, use a Scale to pitch down an upper octave on the keyboard to make the impulse respond to it. So, the first impulse is at C3, the second is at C4.
I would like to see more slots, or maybe user-addable slots to it. That'd be nice, being able to define how many extras you need.

- user expandable amount of slots..
- on the fly sample reverse..
(alt-click the playhead icon> sample reversed> icon points to the left)
- better stretch algo..
- a fix for the sample 'attack' issue..
- more envelope options..
(loop FWard/BWard, etc.)
- a bigger sample start value..
(preferable as long as the length of the sample (100%)
- LFO's instead of 'random'..
(how is random defined anyway?)
- a FM oscilator as on Sampler..
- more modulation options in general..
(velocity to> and LFO's)
- ability to automate Mute/Solo..
- option for non-exclusive/exclusive Solo..
- more choke groups..
Impulse definately needs an upgrade..
I like to see a tabbed interface as on Sampler..
Feature wise a bit towards Battery..

I think a better solution would be to add choke groups etc. to racks so you could just use as many Simplers as you need and leave Impulse only for compatibility reasons..
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

and what if people don't like to use racks and simplers for drums?noisetonepause wrote:I think a better solution would be to add choke groups etc. to racks so you could just use as many Simplers as you need and leave Impulse only for compatibility reasons..
what if people prefer a 'drummachine'?
